I don't think your teacher hates you. He is just trying to do his job and that is to teach you and the other students in his class. It is unfair to the other students to have to have the teachers attention diverted to you because you are talking. If you need to have his attention, how about doing it in a positive way. Stop talking, surprise him with your silence for a week or more. This will definitely get his attention and make him like you better. Show him that you really are mature enough to have some self control.

The best way to suck up to a teacher is:
1) Pay attention in class
2) Don't disturb other students in class
3) Do your homework and hand it in on time
4) Study with the goal of making an A on your exams
I guarantee that your teacher will be impressed

Well, I wouldn't necessarily go as far as the last post did, but I will say that you just need to do your best, listen more, and talk less. Remember that just as your job is to get up every morning and go to school, your teacher's job is to get up every morning and teach you. He has to make a living teaching you, and most likely he's doing the best he can. You have to do your part by letting it sink in and allowing others in your class to do the same, and it sounds like your talking gets in the way of that.
Sucking up isn't needed...just go to school and do your part to make things run smoothly for everyone - yourself, your classmates, and your teacher.

Behave in class and treat your teacher with respect. You say you talk way too much. That is your problem. Stop talking when it is the teachers turn to talk.

That's not sucking up, it's just common courtesy.

Paying attention is a good start. You need to talk if it's appropriate and has to do with what he's teaching. Plus raise your hand to speak if you need to.

Teachers don't like rudeness.

Stop talking and really listen. Letting him do his will be a step in the right direction

Try this: use your mouth and your ears in proportion. You have 2 ears and 1 mouth, so shut the hell up and listen instead of talking during class. You're there to learn, not to run your yapper.
