Why does Buddha suddenly come to mind?

Did you know Buddha walked on water and spoke in parables 500 years before Jesus? I’m not saying Jesus was false, he was authentic, just not original.

The source of his teachings was God.

God has always been trying to reveal himself to all of mankind, not just the Jews and not just what is recorded in the Old Testament. So when you look at the teachings of Jesus, many of them had already been "learned" by other people (both Old Testament and otherwise). The "Golden Rule" is a good example. It is known by most other religions because it is a "real thing" that God reveals to anyone who seek for him.

What made Jesus unique was that he was the only one able to change the rules, so that instead of being laws in a book that people had to struggle to follow, they became desires of the heart which people long to follow. Through his death and resurrection, it made it possible to change the human heart, to cause it to be born again, so that the laws are written on our hearts where can follow them.

Jesus (pbuh), was and is a Mighty Prophet of God Almighty.
Source of knowledge is always from The God.
All Prophets and messengers of God Almighty always remain in constant guidance of Almighty.

If you see history of Prophets you will find no worldly School or institution involves in Prophets teachings, reason is God want them above all humans, and makes them teacher and supremacy over them.

What Prophet Jesus said was original and authentic.
But Unfortunately Just after His First departure to Havens, people of ignorant started innovations in the Holy scripture and with lots of distortions corrupted His teachings and The Holy Scripture as well.

A very good example of Jesus' referring to the Old Testament was when Satan tried to tempt him in the Desert. Every time Satan tried to tempt Him Jesus answered with "It is written."

All things are from God, he quoted scripture and prophets but that s the word of God, so he quoted the word and will of His Father. Some original things he said were that he had a new commandment, to love thy neighbor as thy self and that he had athority over all things given to him by his Father.

Jesus quoted Jewish prophets and the Torah throughout nearly all his teachings. Some things were original, but most was not, he just reinforced it.

John 14:10b..The things I say to you men I do not speak of my own originality; but the Father who remains in union with me is doing his works.

John 17:14 I have given your word to them. (Jesus said in prayer to the Father)

John 7:16 Jesus, in turn, answered them and said: "What I teach is not mine, but belongs to him that sent me."

John 8:28b ...just as the Father taught me I speak these things.

John 12:49 Because I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak.

Jehovah, his Father perhaps? ("nothing I say is of my own but originates with my Father")

*I know that's not a direct quote but he says something 2 that effect and I don't feel like searching for it right now*
