I think many parents try. But how can a 1 hour talk have a chance against 16 hours a DAY of sex in music, TV, movies, magazines and peer pressure?
What we are exposed to is part of our environment, and our environment affects how we adapt, grow, think and act.

Persons have different views on the subject of the topic of laid-back sex and/or casual courting. The operative term "casual" will surely have varied definitions, mainly as a result of huge role that emotions are likely to play in most associations. People tend to change their perception with the issue as they keep experience new things.
Casual dating could be the new norm
Your perception and thoughts towards physical intimacy could possibly be influenced by several factors including your morals, the kind of society that you just belong to and also your religious affiliation. But regardless of which of these factors greatly affect your personal beliefs, it's important to find out exactly how you feel because this can play a huge role inside your dating life and how we choose your potential suitors.
Nowadays, singles are provided with a number of options on the subject of dating and meeting brand-new people. They have more freedom to choose how their dating lives will go but the variety helps make the act of selecting a bit tricky in some instances. In the UK, for example, the general view with casual sex among singles is usually influenced by various aspects like parents, the media, colleagues, religion, physical impulses and personal plans and others. A look into the consumer forums at Affairs and Dating gives you a glimpse of how singles in britain actually perceive casual intimacy today.

Why don't YOU teach YOUR kids that and let everyone else raise their kids as they see fit? I hate it when parents start in with this "WE teach OUR kids" no, there is no "we." There is "you." You teach your kids whatever you want, but don't force your beliefs on others or try to guilt trip others into believing what you believe. Who are you to decide what is the "right" way to behave? Morality is relative to the person with the morals.
I for one, will teach my kids that casual sex is a reality that they will one day have to make a choice about and if they choose to engage in it, they will need a knowledge of STDs and contraceptives. If they choose not to engage in it, then that knowledge may still come into play if they discuss the matter with their friends. There is no valid argument that sexual protection should not be taught.

Didn't you ask almost this same question a couple minutes ago?
Why isn't casual sex the "right way to behave?" I have several relationships that involve what you would call casual sex. They're all gratifying in their own way...

I hope my kids (at an appropriate age), go out experience everything they can in life, including sex. That way they will be able to some day settle down, never look back and wonder.

Speak for yourself.
As long as you teach kids to have respect for themselves and other people, they can still go out and explore their bodies.
Just tell them to be careful, use protection, and be there to answer any questions they may have with regards to intimacy.

because it is the right way to behave, you want your childer to learn different thats your buisness but after seeing the other crap this world has to offer i would personally teach my childern to do whatever they want with respect that way they would grow up right and not grow up cussin me out for not teaching them crap about sex drugs or anything else like most ignorant parents do.

My parents taught me any kind of sex is inappropriate.
Telling kids not to have sex doesn't work. Deal with it, and teach kids the facts, not just this "don't do it" b.s.
