This is something I've often wondered about, having seen an interview with him, his understanding of the issues facing the world seemed so profound that I found it hard to imagine him actually believing in the Baptist church that I hear he belongs to.

Is it just a front to appease the voters?

Will he drop the faccard when Hillary's carreer is over?

I think he's a sharp individual and he knows he not only can't be elected as an atheist but that atheist and Baptist are simply labels. He, I, you, think and believe what we do and slapping a label on it just cheapens it in my opinion. Whether you believe good deeds come from salvation or reason or genetics, you want to promote good deeds if you are in a position to do so.

Strangely enough, I read an interview with him in which he genuinly seems to be expressing a strong faith in Christ. I guess its between him and his creator.

And please, don't think that all "Christians" are narrow-minded. I feel that I have a strong worldview. I am a historian who has a strong understanding of the forces that have led us to our current world situation. I am from a multicultural, multinational and multiracial background. I have lived in Europe, the U.S. and the Middle East, while of Asian background. My father and grandfather have been to war and my parents have each lived in 5 continents. I support charities, volunteer and am aware of and have worked towards relieving the suffering in Darfur and many other countries.

And I believe in Christ. And I (try) do everything I do for Him.

I have never heard that Bill Clinton was an Atheist!
We are not to Judge! You should know that! If God can forgive him and his wife can forgive him the people should let it drop that he had an affair. What did he do that was so bad? I mean against out country? He did get us out of debt. We had a surplus of money in reserve? He did lie about his affair with a pretty young woman (of age by the way) But that didn't hurt our country!

The answer is not something you'll ever know for sure, so I recommend you stop thinking about it.

It is just one of those irrelevant things that enters the mind on whimsy and does naught but waste RAM.

He's probably just an agnostic.

Edit: don't worry about the spelling error. I was tryin' to help a brotha out.

I figured out a long time ago that it isn't possible to tell what he really thinks about anything.

He's a postmodern Christian. That's functional atheism, but cultural Christianity, I suppose. No facade to drop.
