I have a drink if it's a long flight, because I get bored and want to sleep.

Alcohol has a stronger effect on people at that high of an altitude, so one drink is equivalent to about 3 or 4 on the ground.

Occasionally... not too often. I never pay for a drink on the flight because they're a ripoff. But I frequently fly the USAirways Shuttle from Boston to Washington DC (highly recommended), and they offer complimentary beer and wine so I sometimes have one if it's a flight that's later in the day. Or if I get an upgrade to first class I'll have a gin or vodka and tonic.

Hardly ever. Alcohol is a depressent and acts on your body harshly, which is already in a harsh environment.

Drink water, help your body handle the chagnes in air pressure and jet lag.

No.
But then I don't drink on the ground, either.
