In Hinduism offering FLOWER during the The PUJA (ritual worship) to GOD is very important. The Puja include, OFFERING FLOWERS as obeisance. You may just offer some FLOWERS and say that instead of the silken clothes you would like to offer to the Lord, you are offering these FLOWERS. Flowers are one offering to God which we do not take back in full. Flowers come from nature, that is prakRti, and go back to the Lord of that prakRti, namely God. Since flowers are the only thing which we can leave wholly with the deity of worship, Hindu deity worship always emphasizes a massive use of flowers. Even the water which is used for bathing the idol is taken back in little drops as lustral water, in the hollow of the right hand and swallowed immediately. When anything is offered to God and then taken back for our use like this, it becomes prasad, meaning Grace (of God).

Bhagwan Sri Krishna says in Chapter 9, verse 26 as -
Patram, Pushpam, Phalam, Toyam yo me Bhakty prayacchatitad
aham bhakty-upahrtam asnami Pryatatmanah-
Meaning in English-
whoever with loving devotion offers unto Me a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water, I affectionately accept that devotional offering from that pure hearted being-

In other faiths and Religions are also FLOWERS are offered while worshiping for various reasons-

Flowers represent purity as well as happiness. They are the creation of god and in turn they are offered back to God as a mark of our gratitude to god.

flowers go good nice scent alot too

and the worship is the sweetest scent=we are created in God's image--say you lived alone on an Island-would you be content-maybe if you never received true love and adoration you would-yet deep in your heart you would long for that.

God who is a fellowship-because it is his nature and nurture-an example of 3 forms being one H2o water steam or ice -always h2o yet comes in 3 forms.
Well this God who has fellowship within himself desired to create a world with people that could join his fellowship-

back to the Island-even as you talk words come from your mouth-they are not part of you yet they are you in essence-so in a way you can fellowship with yourself-yet wouldnt you desire more??? communication adoration, yet to give the right -free will to others to reject you too? would you give yourself to your creation-would you come to die to forgive them of their rejection of you-in an attempt to show your love to have their fellowship???

this is deap stuff-you may just get a little of it-I pray with time u will understand the heart of God to love you, adore you, care for you as a good shepherd John 10
you may think im totally nuts- I am 165 IQ raised a Jew taught to reject Jesus too. Now he is my savior and best friend and I do worship him -i have tears in my eyes right now-he means so much to me. John 3 repented of my rejection of him and rebellion=sin and let him come to live within my heart to be my best friend.

have a nice day in the prince of peace Isaiah 9:6 "Unto us a child is born a son given, and he shall be the almighty God and the prince of peace." PEACE, David

a rose for you yellow for friendship first from above
