what tax form i am supposed to fill ?

i sold a business last year & the buyer is paying me in monthly installments. under what catagory i am supposed to file my taxes ?

This is NOT a Schedule C transaction as proposed by another poster! (That "Expert" is not an expert on taxes at least.)

it will be sch c for business income. u can file for free online
