Now I know some people like and don't like me because I'm Christian... So for those Christians out there...

How do we help bring Gay/Lesbin people to Christ?
I pray, but what else can I do?

None of you answerers know me personaly but you think I cram this on people... I don't... I am a friend to all who want me to be a friend and treat me as such... but all I ask for is what ways are there to help guide people to christ? The reason I bring up G/L is because more and more laws are having to be changed and some moral has gone down the drain!

All you can do is be an example and pray. Talk to those who will listen. Otherwise just leave it in Gods hands, give it all to Him. Don't fret or worry about it. Ultimately its up to God to change a person and up to the person to want to change.

You can attempt to witness to people all you want to. But, if you have not been led of God to do so you are going to cause more harm then good. Sometimes we Christians need to learn when to keep our mouths shut. . .when we start speaking w/o talking to God first we can end up saying some pretty dumb things. . .look at some of the R&S section for examples.

I know espescially w/ new Christians it is like a first love and you want to tell everyone about it and you want everyone to expereince what you have felt. Unfortunately, this zeal comes off the wrong way too many times. The best witness you can ever give is how you life your life. . .not by how much you can say.

They way you live your life, the way you respond to conflict and turmoil will speak more about you and your faith than anything you will ever say.

You can't bring any group of people to Christ, only God can do that. It is an individual choice.

I am a Christian, but not a evangelical at all. I do not hate Christians as group, however they are a little overbearing at times. They feel like they are morally superior when they are not at all according to some the things we have seen over the last few years. They do have a tendency to come off as hypocritical on many issues.

I guess the problem is that some Christians try to force their religion on others. It is a choice and one that all have the freedom to make according to the constitution. We are a nation that was founded by Christians, but it is not a Christian nation. We are a nation that values freedom of religion. People here have the right to worship Satan if they choose.

A suggestion as to bring Gay/Lesbian people to Christ. I really don't know how to help you but Christians may try to be a little less exclusive and judgmental. After all God and Jesus really wouldn't care who people are loving as long as they love. Love is the real message of Christ and not changing people based on their sexuality. If you believe the bible literally then you have no choice but to be judgmental and have hatred towards homosexuals.

I believe that trying inclusion instead of exclusion would serve Christians better. Remember, Jesus accepted the people that society did not. And he loved them and preached to them. However, he accepted them as they are. I have no doubt that Jesus would accept homosexuals as they are. People like you and me.

That was his message. Modern day Christians seem to have lost that message.

If you want to bring people to Christ - live His love every day! Stop putting down gays, stop trying to convert them, stop acting like there is something wrong with them. Jesus was a friend of prostitutes, tax collectors, lepers, and outcasts.
He challenged us to love our neighbours as ourselves.
Live your life as an example of Christian love, support, empathy, gentleness and kindness.

Just keep praying for them, the Gospel of Christ is there to convict all of us of sin and it is their choice wether to read it and obey it or not, some Homosexual people have done this and are leading a celebate life for the sake of the Gospel, but not even Christ expected to gain every soul.

Yes, what has the world come to? Back in the good ol' days you could just torture homosexuals. Jump off a cliff, the world needs less self-righteous *****.

There are plenty of gay and lesbian people who have no problem finding Christ. And God has no problem loving them as well.

So many want to worship a God they believe is one of exclusion, but in my mind, God loves us all and his love is blind to color, race, belief and sexual persuasion.

Ray Comfort, Way of the Master

A great book I recommend to you. The approach is that we are all sinners, no matter what our sins, and we all need a savior.

God bless!
