I want to make a backup CD for my Linksys Driver and other installation CD's, do I use Nero? and how do I do it?

You should use Nero ImageDrive , you can also use , Alcohol , VirtualCD ..

I have a Samsung burner with Nero. It came with a printed User's Guide. Did yours? If so, check it out. It is clear enough that I, as a beginning burner-user, was able to do it.

The easiest way would be to use a program like Alcohol 120% or CloneCD or similar

you can make any cd writing software to do that..
