If you have done business with them before they can still call you also non profits can call you as well. If you have requested them to stop calling you can always report them to the FCC.

They have to have done business with you within the past year, or thier parent or sub-company had to.

When they call ask them not to anymore, write down the company name.

If they call again and are excempt from the Do Not Call, then there isnt really anything you can do-most companies want to be nice though so you keep doing business with them.

If theyre not excempt and they call anyway then you can contact a lawyer. I think there is an easier method though..

Contact your state I believe it is the fcc and report it. Make sure you have the name of the organization, the number they called from or that they give... For every call you get the company that is calling will have to pay a fine which is sent directly to you . So for every call you earn 500 dollars. Thats the part of the donot call legistration that few know about. The few that know collect every time.

Even with the rules for do not call, like done business in the last year etc.. they are not allowed to use your cell phone if you don't want them to. If it is your only means of communication don't give it out it is not required for anything.

There are a lot of exceptions to the Do Not Call list. If the company is presently doing business with you, or if you've EVER done business with the company in the past, they are pretty much exempt from the No-Call restrictions.

At one point in my past, I was so innundated with such calls that I changed my number to a non-published number.

Never mind blocking the calls. Just wait till they call and ask them if they give blue chip stamps. If not, tell them that you only buy from companies that give blue chip stamps.......
