The typical person that meeting MENSA guidelines thinks critically and rationally .. they are more deductive reasoners, than theists. They base decisions on known reality, rather than perceived interpretation.
Theists get lost in thought, and those that are rationally minded sort through the information presented and find the answer.
It applies to religious beliefs the same as it applies to mathematical equations.

It means somebody is probably lying. People define what they mean by "god" in many different ways, including MENSA members. Some are atheists I'm sure, but to say they all are is at best, misleading. Best way to find out what a MENSA member thinks? Try asking them!

It just means that everyone belonging to MENSA is much to intelligent to believe in a god or gods, because after all, religion cannot be proven and has no scientific basis.

LOL

Saying "There are no theists in Mensa" implies that theists are intellectually inferior to atheists. It's as false and insulting as "There are no atheists in foxholes," which implies that atheists are not as sincere in their disbelief as theists are in their belief.

the phrase doesn't mean any thing, especially to a MENSA member? We all have a god, people worship beer, job, pets, kids, etc...some worship their own intellect.

It's a falsehood. I can attest that there are, in fact, quite a number of us in MENSA.
