In Canada, aircraft maintenance engineering is not a degree course, it is a technical course taught at Colleges

Aircraft maintenance is a definite degreed program at several schools in the US. The graduates are often referred to as A&Ps, meaning they are certified to work on the Airframe and Powerplant of aircraft.
