Lemon is always a favorite, but you can also use limes, grapefruit, oranges, and fresh fruit such as raspberries, cherries, pineapple, etc.

if you eat only two meals a day, then your metabolism will slow.... causing you to either stay the same or even gain. don't do that! first of all you need to eat a big breakfast. NEVER eat school food. it's bad for you. either bring lunch, or just eat a snack when you get home. you should eat 2-3 more snacks after that about an hour apart each, don't eat dinner. you don't have time to burn it off before you sleep. keep porportions small, and make sure that the snacks that you eat are healthy, like an apple, that way you don't get run down or sick. NEVER drink anything but water, besides an occasional cup of milk or something. that alone should help you lose a couple of extra pounds. but the if you want to lose a lot of weight..... WORK OUT!! as much as you can. it doesn't even have to be real go-to-the-gym type either, go outside and play basketball with your friends or something. that way it's fun. good luck!

I put a couple of slices of cucumber in my water. It makes it nice and silky, and is really tasty and refreshing. I also put fresh lime, grapefruit or fresh mint leaves. I drink nothing but water all day, so I enjoy a little variety with the flavors.

Blue, a sushi restaraunt in Omaha, NE puts a cucumber slice in theirs instead of lemon.
I actually like it better than lemon, it makes it really cool and crisp tasting.
Lime is also good. Actually, any citrus would probably be good, and raspberries have a strong enough flavor that they would be good.

For one to enjoy water, it has to be mineral water. Minerals give the savory taste to water and without it, water tastes bland. Adding any else to water doesn't make it water. It becomes juice. Do not be afraid of minerals in water. Minerals are as important as food in our body. examples are calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, etc. Without them your body will not function as effectively as it should. The 2 time Nobel Prize winner Dr Linus Pauling says that, "In every disease, sickness or illness, there is always an associated mineral deficiency!" Take his advice!!!!
