I asked this question before and only one person answered. Her answer was very good, but I would like some other opinions. Okay here's the question:
I want to build an animal robot...I'm thinking of making a grizzly bear-the same size, not someting that fits in your hand . It's farfetched, I know, but is there a way to make it? Who should I get in touch with? Websites? Parts? Sound? Skin/fur/teeth/claws? Where do you think I can find all of that?
Also, I live in Va, so it's not like it's Hollywood where I can walk down the street and go to the nearest special effects artist.

You are looking at a task that would take a half dozen grad students a few years when you consider the electrical design, the mechanical design, all the A/D interfaces and most of all, all the programming that has to be done. If you have to ask for advice here, you're probably not up to doing it.
