no- too much junk and too little calories.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

You'll lose weight but it will be muscle, not fat. Consider trading off some of those carbs for more protein and keep the calories around thirteen hundred a day if Your not exercising much and You'll see real results in a month, perhaps as much as ten pounds. From that diet You've written out it would seem as though Your a vegan . Vegans can get protein from rice and beans combined together as well as oatmeal. Switch any two of Your meals with these, add in an apple between breakfast and lunch, perhaps some carrots and celery between lunch and supper and an orange for dessert at supper or some other type of fruit You enjoy and that would work out really well towards Your goal of losing some weight. You may want to consider the amount of calories for each thing You eat so You can stay on track. For example a single serving of unsweetened oat meal ( half a cup dry mixed in a cup of water ) is around one hundred and fifty calories. When You add two table spoons of sugar that bumps it up by sixty calories. When You add half a cup of milk that adds another fifty calories. A single serving of black beans and rice is equal to three hundred calories. You just want to make it all add up to twelve or thirteen hundred calories a day. Good luck with it whatever You decide!

That is a pretty lo cal diet. You may want to add a little more protein to your diet. Lack of carbs can be bad but it sounds like you have atleast a decent amount of carbs. You can eat more and lose even more if you exercise and stay busy. B vitamins play a big role in your metabolism.

At first, but you will gain it back and probably more because you won't be eating enough. You should add at least two snacks in your day and have an actual meal for lunch or dinner. You don't have enough protein and other essential nutrients in this diet.

Probably, but try exercising instead of drastically cutting down on your calorie intake. It looks to me as though you would onbly be eating 550-600 calories and that's not enough.

You def. need more protein in your diet, good lean protein at that. Instead 3 meals per day, break it down to 6 mini meals where your always feeding your body something which will increase your metabolism. Always combine good carbs with lean protein along with drinking water.

No, it's not enough food. If you don't eat enough, your metabolism will slow down. NEVER eat under 1200 calories.

No, do you honestly believe that the foods chosen are healthy.
Where's your fruits, vegatables and protein. Not a good choice.
