We are yet to develop an aircraft that cannot be detected by a radar. The B-2 Spirit bomber, F-117 Nighthawk fighter and the new F/A-22 Raptor are stealthy aircrafts, which means they are harder to detect and track using radar.

Insofar no perfect radar absorbing material has been developed and these aircrafts are painted with stuff that reduce the radar echo and fooling the radar to think they are random noise.

Electronics evolve faster than materials and aerodynamics, so radars will always detect metallic targets, stealth just makes it difficult.

The F-117 night Hawk (stealth fighter) and the F-22 Raptor are fighter aircraft said to be stealth fighters. The B-2 is a bomber said to be stealth. In reality though, nothing is truely invisible to radar. For example, a person walking on the tarmac of an airport will show up on ASDE (ground radar). RADAR is short for Radio Detection and Ranging. These aircraft are made with material that absorb radio waves and shaped to deflect radio waves, but on the radar scope they still show up. Granted, they show up on the scope as the size of say a large bird. While not completely invisible the only way to detect them is to tune the scope to its most sensitive setting and if you see something that looks like a bird zooming in at 500 miles an hour, there ya go. A missle probably won't be able to lock on to them, but you can still see them IF you know they are coming. You cannot always have your scope tuned to be that sensitive though because at that level it will pick up cars driving by the antenna site, ravens, trees etc which can make things extremely confusing.

i do no longer understand of any warring parties, yet 3 tactical autos (bombing, spying) that i understand of have relatively small radar profiles. those are the F117, the B2, and the SR71. it is not impossible to capture those autos on radar because of the fact, in lots of circumstances, they do take place, they only take place like a chook or a private airplane might and the radar operator does not see a danger. think of that it could be attainable to discover a hidden motor vehicle via attempting to seek for this is silhouette against a mountain or the floor (assuming you try to discover it from the air.)

Any Stealth design aircraft(Fighter or Bomber or other kind).

Paint pattern, type of paint and shape makes it not possible for RADAR to detect it.
