Because there is no god, and that's the best answer to some of the questions. If someone's question is predicated on the existence of a god, then the question is bad to begin with. We're just pointing that out.
And, we come in here to do just that. We come to teach people the difference between religious superstition and reality. With all the harm that religoin is doing in the world, we need to get past superstitious beliefs.

Why do people who profess to believe in a god come here, which is a forum for atheists and others to discuss religious mythology? It must be because they want to be talked out of their beliefs, so it's our duty to try to help them.

Some of them are simply looking for a place to say something that they believe, because saying it aloud could get them pummelled with criticism in their lives.
Others are trolls.
Others are responding with reason to your questions.
It depends on your question and the responder. Why do you pay any attention? Do you think maybe they may have a point?

Because I can go wherever I want and you can't do anything about it... oh and because There are alot of other Atheists in here and we like to discuss religion as much as you do, we just bring a whole different perspective to the discussion. AND because many of the christians in here TRY to bash us so we have to put them in there place.

Just don't let it get to you. They like getting reactions out of people, they're bored and have nothing else to do. Many of them wouldn't even believe if angel came to them.

It is my opinion that with the devil is still at work, he and his followers are still on patrol.
Why wouldn't they be instrumental in destroying the good many try to do?
I for one am still trying hard to serve Jehovah.
Don't let them annoy you. If your faith is strong, you can just scroll past the inaccuracies, to get to the truth.
