I just took the written exam a few months ago, & did not get to even see the study book. There were 25 questions, & I think you could miss no more than seven. I missed three.

It asked things like what is the fine for a 1st dui? What is safe following distance at 40 mph? Who has right of way at an intersection?

Study the book for a few hours & you'll have no problem.

The driving test mostly involves paying attention & doing as instructed by the examiner. Signal when you turn....even when pulling into a parallel parking space. Make sure you stop COMPLETELY at all stop signs. Sit up straight & look at the road, not the examiner.

Go by the Texas Department of Public Safety and read the free hand book all the questions are in there. What really scares people is the Officer sitting in the seat next to you during the driving test
