shes 2 months old! of course she wont listen. put a leash on her so she cant get away from you, work in short spurts, but make her pay attention to you. she is young, may not even know her name yet. thats the first step. give her time. she'll start paying attention eventually

You need to talk to a professional trainer. What I must tell you is that hitting her is wrong, not only because of abuse etc, but because it doesn't work, it actually makes things worse. You need to ignore her when she does something wrong, and say stop, and stay completely still. If you catch her and talk to her face or even hit her, she thinks it is a game, and she does it again, ,or gets angry and does it again. She must learn that unacceptable behaviour will not reward her with attention from you.

You got a long way to go yet, it took 8 months to break my dog so that she didnt run away from me and even now she sometimes does, give her a treat everytime she does something good she will soon realise that if shes naughty she wont get anything! And remember the smaller the dog the harder they are to train, just be patient, good luck xx

Get a spray bottle of water, and give her a squirt in the face, while you say NO!
At 2 months old, you are going to be saying "no" a lot!

i know your feeling that you dont want to hit your cute dog, but sometimes, you have no choice. hit it a little bit softly. and give her attention. maybe your dig thinks that when you are being mad at her, you are giving attention to her or maybe she thinks that it is a good thing. if she thinks that it is a good thing, you have to yell at her. or do something so she will get the idea that what ever she did was wrong.

I am so happy you do not hit your dog. You are such a good owner. She is still a puppy, so keep doing what your doing, and reward her when she does what you say. good luck! And, I am proud of u for not hitting your dog.

Ask your vet for a referral to a good puppy kindergarten class. Among other things, they will teach YOU how to communicate with your pup. I consider this essential for first time dog owners....

These are not real dogs in my opinion but if you have to have one, take it to puppy training classes. It will solve all the problems. But you're right, never hit a dog or one day it will use its teeth on you.

Try a low growl, that's what it's mom would do.
