I would like to get a tattoo but I know that they are associated with gays. I DO NOT want people thinking I am some gay. Are tattoos gay?

No I'm not gay and I have 2 and am getting 2 more this year!!
There are however some tattoos that are associated with gay people like dolphins!! I say if you want one get one don't listen to what people say if it makes you happy do it!!

Tattoos aren't usually associated with gays that strongly, for example look at modern rock and punk bands at least 2 of the people have visible tattoos and all the gay people i know don't actually have tattoos (that i know about anyways), so go for it if you want one don't worry about people calling you gay, and gay blokes are nice anyway so don't dis, thnx

No tattoos are not gay. My husband has tattoos and believe me he's not gay. If you want a tattoo just make sure you go to someone that knows what their doing and that it's sanitary.

No, having a tattoo hasnt got anything to do with being gay. It used to be considered a taboo a very long time ago as only prisoners and sailors had tattoos. Or rather someone that totaly rebelled against society. Now days its acceptable.
Go ahead, its okay to get that tattoo.

no what would have make u think tattoos are gay.Even if they were associated with gay people it shouldn't matter but nope tattoos are not associated with gay people. if u want to get a tattoo then get one. no ones stopping. just do what u want to do and try not to let people opinions control you

Only gay tattoos are gay!
If you are not gay people are unlikely to think you are gay, if you are gay they are unlikely to think you are gay. You may be suprised that people generally don't think about other people's sexuality unless they have motives to do so.
I personally wouldn't recommend a permanent tattoo, just think it is a permanent momento of a temporary decision!

Are you for real? Do you know anyone with tattos? They are not associated with gays. Or maybe you're right and me, my boyfriend and half of my friends are actually gay but we're still in the closet. Get a reality check.

Dude I have to give you points for asking something different for a change (even if it was a stupid question). As long at you dont get a sign tattooed on your lower back reading "Enter Here" with an arrow pointing at your *** crack then you will be safe......from those pesky gays.

Not all tattoos are gay, it is up to you if you want to get one,along as it is something that you are prepared to stick with the rest of your life,dont get names done.
Plus i the term gay can be used to say something is not what they think is cool. mainly they are jealous.
