Find a box that CD's will fit in and get some lining paper, self adhesive, and put it one the box, tada a CD holder! You could cover the box with construction paper, use a geometric design or draw something on it as well. Good Luck! or use a coffee can to make a pencil holder or flower holder. You can cut construction paper to fit it and glue on. The smaller cans are great for holding sharpie markers! I buy a set of them and then, I can easily get to them. Use the lid on the bottom so you can put it on any surface without scratching it up! Use your imagination! Have Fun!
