My sister told me that many of her female coworkers are single and not looking. Why? Don't women want to be with a man?

Not necessarily. After so many men cheating on them, or treating them badly in some way, many women are choosing to go it alone. It beats the heck out of being treated badly. With most women working now, the only real thing they need a man for is sex. They can do that by themselves too, with all of the gadgets sold. Why would they want to cook, clean, pick up after, put up with, and be treated badly by a man, when they can take care of themselves? When men do this to women, they don't realize just how independent women are now. That is why they act so surprised when the women gets sick of it and leaves.

LOL, I see someone said that he must have rocked your world. I doubt it. If he was rocking your world, you wouldn't be so upset. Very few men out there that can rock a womans world. So many today seem to be lazy and are looking for a lady to take care of them. No pride is what I call that. Aww, I sound like a man hater, lol. Sorry If I offended any of you guys out there. I don't mean all guys, I mean a whole heck of a lot tho!! =-) If you notice, them are the single ones. A lot of women don't figure it out until they have a little life experiences under their belt. Live and learn, I suppose. I think women choose these guys because of two reasons...... 1 ) because there are so many of them. =-/ 2 ) because we tend to be soft hearted and seem to want to do for them, until we realize we get sick of it. =-// I think men like that are weak and don't have respect. I don't blame you. It's a good thing that you have stepped up and have set the bar. Tho, I do want to say that being poor doesn't make you better than him. I mean when it's all said and done you won't need that bath and body works when your time is over in this world. I never refer to anyone as a loser. That's a really bad thing to say. I think USER fits him better.

It's ludicrous to think that women want to be dating all of the time. Relationships take a lot of time and attention, and sometimes people (both male and female) just want to spend some time on their own. All people who aren't insecure with being single have periods like this. It's healthy to spend some solo time in between relationships to gain perspective and take a breather. It's a relief to not have to worry about the "man stuff" every once in a while. Dating isn't like breathing, you don't have to do it all of the time.

Sweetie, each feel differently and want different things out of life. From the sounds of it,your sisters coworkers merely want to focus on their jobs/careers as opposed to settling down in a relationship right now. This actually isnt uncommon, believe it or not. Many females want to focus on them, and not even begin to settle down until they are older and have established a job/career as well as a stable income. Some arent seeking companionship whereas others cannot live without it.Basicly, each person(male or female) wants different things at a particular time. Each person is looking for different things in a relationship or the lack their of by choice.Good luck hun,and have a good day!!

Not all of them. Some women, thank god are about something besides looking for a man to "complete them". That's what I'm looking for, a woman with some substance. Most of us guys are only interested in having sex with women and not every woman is interested in being some guys sex toy.

its not like she never wants to date men, its just at the moment, she feels she doesn't need to be attached to anyone, maybe for many reasons; either she just wants to focus on a new career or she's been hurt in the past, and now its not a good time to start dating...she knows when she is ready, and she is allowing that time to be single right now,

being single allows one to get to know her/himself more... you start to realize how much you sacrifice while being in a relationship, and being alone will help you step back, and reflect life...

Maybe they have other priorities that they feel more important beside men. Such as they carriers maybe. There are a lot of responsibilities involves when you make a relationship with someone. Maybe they aren't ready yet or maybe they just happy to the way they are right now..

They are happy with the way their lives as they are, there are so many people out there that choose to be happy alone, rather than miserable and in a wrong relationship. By not looking it does not mean that if they suddenly met a man they liked they would not date, but it simply means they are not going out of their way to meet men.
