Change your light bulbs in your home to a more energy savings ones. When you go shopping for groceries bring your own bags instead of you getting the ones from the store. Try not to use so many plastic bags or paper bags, be more savy when using them. I heard on TV that if we all just cut back from using one paper napkin a day we can save one tree from being cut down. Planting trees is a good idea. Using products that are earth friendly are a good idea as well. We all need to do something for ourselves and for the new generation s below us.

You're on the right path. Only, planting a tree every month is potentially problematic: space and money.
Recycle. Combine trips to the store( food AND clothes). Don't speed while driving. Ride a bicycle. Solar panels for your home(cost effective).

Use those bulbs that last for 3+ years and use only 25% of the watts of regular bulbs. Get a hybrid car if you can. Recycle.

buying organic foods because there are no chemicals. there is no real way to fight global warming. I remember talking about these things when I was in 5th grade... and let me tell you, the people on earth still haven't done anything to change their ways and it's irreversible.

Basically cut energy use ...
Get rid of your computer, TV and video games. They waste energy. Throw away your cell phone and your iPod. Walk don't ride.
