Ideally, her parents will be supportive. If marriage to the father of the baby is out of the question, she is counseled to give the baby up for adoption.
As for her membership, she might be disfellowshipped, but if she's not promiscuous, (this being her first ppnesive) she might be put on some sort of probation.

Likely the same thing that happens with any 17 year old that gets pregnant and has people who care about her, they will give her her options, which are keep the baby or give it up for adoption (as with most Christians they don't support abortion). They will support her and be there for her whatever her decision is. My cousin was 17 and got pregant and everyone was awesom. She decided to keep the baby and not get married. She later found a great guy who adopted the child. Everyone makes poor decisions, and Mormons realize this. She will have to come to terms with her failing to follow the teachings of Christ, but will also have support for that.

You can't get excommunicated for having sex and getting pregnant while unwed. As long as you repent and try to change, you can still be a memeber of the church! If she goes and talks to her Bishop he will most likely tell her to repent, and pray, and also that she should not partake of the sarrament until she feels like she has been forgiven by Heavenly Father, then she can go back and talk with the Bishop. Usually people know they have been forgiven when they forgive themselves and change.
Also her parents might be shocked and disapointed like any other parents of a teenage pregnancy, but I am sure they would be happy, every baby is a blessing :D

Just to build a little bit on what La Chacha said...
Some of the specifics would depend on whether or not the sex was consentual or not.
If it was, then diciplinary actions can occur, and the girl will be encouraged to go through the repentance process (according to Mormon Church doctrine, consentual sexual relations outside of marriage are amoung the most serious sins you can commit and still be forgiven of, and the repentance process can be lengthy at times). Qualified physical and mental health care professionals will be sought out, if needed.
It it wasn't, then again, qualified physical and mental health care professionals will be sought out, if needed. She will be encouraged to pursue any secular laws that ought to be followed (i.e. working with the local court system to ensure that the guy is prosecuted for rape).
In both cases, she will be encouraged to give the baby up for adoption through LDS Social Services (a part of the Mormon Church that, as its name implies, helps with the social services needs of Church members) once it is born, though doing so isn't manditory.

I think that a seventeen year old Mormon girl should watch out for her parents, they might try to convict the boy or young man of statutory rape because she under age. However if the parents and/or family are close, supportive and have a good communication line between them, they may be understanding about it to a certain point. I do know that the Mormon religion does not believe in birth control, nor can you consume caffeine nor are weman aloud to ware pants. It kinda depends on the level of Mormonism that is practiced by the girl and her family.

Her parents will encourage two things.
1. Her parents might encourage a marriage.
2. Her parents might encourage her to give the baby up for adoption.
The decision from the church leaders as a punishment might be one of two things: (or none at all, it's all up to the discretion of the Bishop)
1. Excommunication from the church
- the girl is no longer recognized as a member of the church
2. Dis-fellowship from the church.
- the girl does not receive priesthood blessings: she doesn't partake in the sacrament, she doesn't go to the temple

It depends on the reason she got pregnant. A girl in my ward gave birth a couple of months ago and I still see her in church.
