I'm being denied the right to continue school due to migraines, and I have just started a beta blocker regimen. My "lovely" school administrators have no idea what they are, and I need to know how to explain them. Thanks.

i think because they dilates the peripheral blood vessels they will reduce the blood flow to the cranial arterioles and capillaries so these cranial blood vessels won't dilates and so won't make pressure on the area responsible for migraine in the brain.

They are vasodilators and migraine are constriction of vessels in head. I know of no one using them for this. They have side effects and are outdated.
