i am best friends with my ex husband and for a while we even lived together as best friends we have a child together and i think it is easier for her to see us getting along. the problem is it is causing me some problems when it comes to dating. there is a guy i like and he likes me to i will see him on wed (i already posted about him) and he thinks that me and my ex are more then friends even though both my ex and i have told him differently and i normally hang out with my ex at the bars we both like the same places and it is easier to be there with the ex because he doesn't drink and i ahve a sober ride home at the end of the nite. but lately i have been thinking of telling the ex to stop hanging out at that bar where my crush works so that i have a chance to really be with my crush. is that wrong ?

He doesn't have to stop going to the bar. He just needs to go with someone else.

he is your ex for a reason so move out and start a life with this guy that you like...why beat around the bush about it and have the ex hang around all the time....
