Tell the blunt honest truth! (Please!) This isn't a contest for points. Best case scenario: you got the most points, now what?, sit at the computer to make sure no one gets higher?(waste of time) Tell the blunt honest truth so people can DISCOVER(third section of yahoo answers) something.

Being 100% honest any answer I give, is genuinely what I think. Would be nice to think that most people on yahoo would do the same. Think we all know that's never the case!!
There are all walks of life here..... You soon learn to spot them though... Should never put off asking though, because if anything, any answer you get back is only an opinion, valid or ridiculous!!

blunt honest truth, but if they sound insecure and need some assurance then I tell them what they want to hear.

It really depends on the question, if its a child then I tend to tell them the truth but with a bit of support on their side,

if its an adult they are old enough to deal with tough truths.

I always say what I think on a matter, but then to be honest, I'm not even slightly interested in the points - I might answer differently if there were prizes at stake! Mind you, it's always quite nice to get that "best answer" email.

Blunt and honest every time, both in person and on here.

If the question appears to be serious I would always give my honest opinion but if I thought it was a frivolous question I would inject some humour in an attempt to gain points.

the truth. Whats the point in being here if you are gonna churn out lies to people.

If somebody asks a question about say something they are studying then i' m pretty sure that they would appreciate a decent answer.

I tell the hinest truth. In most cases people come back to me telling me that i should apologise because people were hurt with the truth that i said.

Depends on whether it is important to the relationship. If it is someone that you love, you should always be honest with them, unless it is something that is not important and would hurt their feelings.. If it is an acquaintance, it is not necessary for them to know what you feel anyway.
