Everyone has a predestined path however things can happen to change our path or position-- just like in the universe--but then we would have a new predestined path until some other intervention. It just goes on and on. That's how everyone and everything in the universe works. Also what you put out into the universe, you will get back. As indivisuals we have some power to change some things but due to our limited amount of energy, it is not possible to be in COMPLETE control because there will always be something greater and more powerful which is God almighty--the most high. We can study science and the universe all day but we will never be able to fathom or comprehend the power of God so we must just believe and the closer we become to God by developing our personal relationship with him, the more energy we have and the more control we have because we begin to walk our predestined path of righteousness and that's how we get to heaven. Everyone is predestined to go to heaven but some people would rather walk on their own path and go somewhere else.

There are some things that happen regardless of what we say or do. However a lot things happen because of the choices we make. We get diabetes most of the time because of the choices of what we eat. Same with heart disease. etc. If we turn right on a road and crash into another car. Then fate caused us to make a decision that was harmful to us. But we could have chosen to turn left and not had the accident at all. So choices do matter.

Funny, I had a conversaion with someone about this recently. In the movie called The Secret (think it was released here in australia) many experts belive in the "law of attraction" where your mindset basicly deterimines your future. Most people find this hard to belive because they cannot belive in something they cant see directly (basicly lack of faith).
I think the law of attraction is real, but it has limits. Clearly a guy in a wheelchair isnt going to be running any 1000 meter dashes (unless he has some funky robot legs) but the base truth I do belive in.
Fate, i think is a little flawed although I have seen some weird coincedences in the last month or so.

I do believe that things happen for a reason and that we control them by the choices we made in our daily lives.

Things happen for a reason because God allows them to happen to get your attention. We can try to control them but what ends up happening is we make a small problem alot bigger and much worse. You may not understand it because your not a believer, I choose to let go and let God, he knows
more than we will ever hope to know in our very short lives.
