I have been with a boy for 2 months.
I've been letting him be in controle and i dont like it.
am i doing the right thing to change this, by not ringing him or texting him and waiting for him to ring or text me first?
The thing is, its already been 24 hours and he still hasnt called me....
How else can i get myself in controle of this relationship?

This may sound 'stereotyped' or whatever...I *never* call or text a boy at first! I make them do all the work. Then when I know them better I start putting effort in. It keeps me in control, it lets thm know that I am to be respected. Girl you can go 24 hours without hearing from him! Be strong and he will see you as strong, and treat you like you deserve.

A relationship should be based on mutual respect rather than control. If you have a genuine interest in this boy and feel he does for you as well, then you should discuss this situation with him. Otherwise if he truly feel he is attempting to contol you, leave now as it will only get worse.

Gah, thats the old stupid thinking that someones gotta be the *****, that sort of thinking will eventually kill the relationship either he will get sick of you bossing him around or vice versa.
The better of the relationships is the mutually benifitial ones where you both get something (sort of like sexbuddies). The harder thing is finding the middleground. That you probally have to talk to him about or work out.

you are doing the right thing but call him and say hi and ask him why he hasnt called...the thing is you let him control everything now he is gonna wanna do that all the time....he knows that by not calling you it will get to you and guess what it is ...just relax and like i said call and ask him why he hasnt called ask what he is doing and say ok then hang up

I think you need to rethink the whole relationship not one person should be in control of the relationship.
