I know this is completely confusing to the natural mind bit that is true. Jesus was 100% man and 100% God while He was on this earth. God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit are the trinity, the tree in one. God is our father, Jesus is our savior and the Holy Spirit is our comforter and best friend. They are three in one because, they are completely spiritual. Jesus is God's son because the Holy spirit placed him in Mary;s womb to be born into this earth. He sacraficed His son so that we could all be saved from destruction. Jesus did pray to God when He was on this earth because God's spirit is everywher at all time which means He was inside Jesus. He also controlled Jesus because, Jesus was 100% man and 100% God. Now, Jesus, God and The Holy Spirit are three in one, God. I don't know how else to explain it and, there is so much more I could write. Contact me if you need to.

Jesus and The Lord are the same entity.

The Holy Spirit is that which resides in man when he does what is right in the eyes of the Father.

The Father has had no relations with mankind save for the through his son Lord Jesus.

The Father is also known as the Ancient of Days. He is what comes down out of heaven when they mystery of God is finally revealed at the end of Christ's (Jesus, Lord, Jehovah) millennial kingdom on earth.

Right now, you should pray to The Father in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus is at his right hand of The Father now, as the first born of heaven, our spiritual intercessor.

I hope you see the reason in this truth. May God be with you in wisdom and understanding.

You are right God does no have to pray to anyone.

Does the Bible agree with those who teach that the Father and the Son are not separate and distinct individuals?

Matt. 26:39, RS: “Going a little farther he [Jesus Christ] fell on his face and prayed, ‘My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.’” (If the Father and the Son were not distinct individuals, such a prayer would have been meaningless. Jesus would have been praying to himself, and his will would of necessity have been the Father’s will.)

John 8:17, 18, RS: “[Jesus answered the Jewish Pharisees:] In your law it is written that the testimony of two men is true; I bear witness to myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness to me.” (So, Jesus definitely spoke of himself as being an individual separate and distinct from the Father.)

What is the origin of the Trinity doctrine?

The New Encyclopædia Britannica says: “Neither the word Trinity, nor the explicit doctrine as such, appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord’ (Deut. 6:4). . . . The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies. . . . By the end of the 4th century . . . the doctrine of the Trinity took substantially the form it has maintained ever since.”—(1976), Micropædia, Vol. X, p. 126.

The New Catholic Encyclopedia states: “The formulation ‘one God in three Persons’ was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century. But it is precisely this formulation that has first claim to the title the Trinitarian dogma. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective.”—(1967), Vol. XIV, p. 299.

In The Encyclopedia Americana we read: “Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was strictly Unitarian [believing that God is one person]. The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching.”—(1956), Vol. XXVII, p. 294L.

According to the Nouveau Dictionnaire Universel, “The Platonic trinity, itself merely a rearrangement of older trinities dating back to earlier peoples, appears to be the rational philosophic trinity of attributes that gave birth to the three hypostases or divine persons taught by the Christian churches. . . . This Greek philosopher’s [Plato, fourth century B.C.E.] conception of the divine trinity . . . can be found in all the ancient [pagan] religions.”—(Paris, 1865-1870), edited by M. Lachâtre, Vol. 2, p. 1467.

John L. McKenzie, S.J., in his Dictionary of the Bible, says: “The trinity of persons within the unity of nature is defined in terms of ‘person’ and ‘nature’ which are G[ree]k philosophical terms; actually the terms do not appear in the Bible. The trinitarian definitions arose as the result of long controversies in which these terms and others such as ‘essence’ and ‘substance’ were erroneously applied to God by some theologians.”—(New York, 1965), p. 899.

Even though, as Trinitarians acknowledge, neither the word “Trinity” nor a statement of the Trinitarian dogma is found in the Bible, are the concepts that are embodied in that dogma found there?

Jesus is not god. Even in the Old Testament, YHWH refers to Jesus as "his servant" and nothing more. GOD is SPIRIT, and perfect. Jesus was flesh, and was not perfect. Jesus admitted only YHWH was truly good when someone called him 'good master'. But besides his own admission he was not god, he made fun of gentiles and cursed people who didn't want him in their town. He also evaded direct questions, and said hypocritical things. He also has problems healing some people (even to this day!)...the 'Supreme Being' who made the earth could surely heal a blind person the first attempt. No, not Jesus.

Jesus was nothing more than a mystic, like the prophets before him. Doing miracles does not mean you are god. The priests of his time could cast out 'demons' too, big deal.

Jesus was praying to God. The Holy Spirit was there with Him. God is a Trinity, and no one or two aspects of Him work independently of the others.

Rid yourself of the confusion.
Jesus never claimed to be God. People who say he did put words in his mouth.
Go with your gut and heart which is already right on, and be assured that you are in good company.
For some really good reading about bible and churches and the discrepancies in the christian religion, read the book: 'Sins of Scripture" by J. Shelby Spong.
This was written by a bible scholar who also believes and supports christianity but exposes the discrepancies and outright lies that are fed to people and that cause confusion like the one you mentioned.

Jesus is God. A son begotten of a father is the same entity as the father, so deity begets deity, just as human begets human, or animal begets animal. The title the Son of God is a statement of the deity of Christ. Why do you say that God does not have to pray to anyone? The Bible says different. The Bible clearly teaches us that Jesus constantly prayed to His Father.

JESUS IS GOD

The Trinity, the three persons of the GOD HEAD/ONE GOD are three facets. of ONE GOD.

The Bible says in JOHN 10:30 (JESUS speaking)

"I and the Father are one."

Try to explain that away.

JESUS IS GOD

GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIMSELF >>> JESUS

ONE GOD >>> Three Persons

TRINITY, Unity, Infinity, Eternity, Divinity, Perfect HOLINESS

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD
Deuteronomy 6:4

"Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." JOHN8:58 ( I AM = GOD )

Revelation 2:8 JESUS says,
“And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write,
‘These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life"

ALL of JOHN chapter 1

Selected >>> In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

JESUS IS GOD

Dear Friend,

Your question is based on the teaching of the Holy Trinity, I do not blame you for being confused brother, the Trinity is a teaching of Man, and was not beleived by the early churches or taught by Jesus.

Christ was the son of the one true God. Many people will tell you that they exist as a trinity, but this is simply not true, consider the following scripture.

John 14:28"You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.

Also

Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they will die,
but the dead know nothing;
they have no further reward,
and even the memory of them is forgotten.

If the Trinity doctrine was true, then who resurrected Jesus when he was dead? and why did Jesus say the father is 'Greater that I'

And concerning the kingdom,

Matthew 24:36
[ The Day and Hour Unknown ] "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

If Jesus was God then why did he not know.

And again, in the book of Mark

The Greatest Commandment
Mark 12:28One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?"
29"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.[e] 30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'[f] 31The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[g]There is no commandment greater than these."

32"Well said, teacher," the man replied. "You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him. 33To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices."

34When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.

The lord is ONE/ you are right in saying he is ONE.

1 Corinthians:15:25For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27For he "has put everything under his feet."[c] Now when it says that "everything" has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. 28When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.

This ends the confusion, ' Now when it says that "everything" has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. 28When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.'

If Jesus was God, how could he be made subject to himself?

I urge you to investigate these things for yourself, many Christians will tell you that it is a mystery that we are not meant to understand, Not so! God wants us to understand everything clearly so that we can come to him with accurate knowledge that breeds love.

The bible also says:

Ephesians 3:9and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. 10His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms

"make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God"

I hope that this answers your questions brother.

God Bless
