God doesn't have a father...silly!

1. Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;
2. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
3. He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
4. And there is none like unto Him.

I think this is one of those questions that we can only speculate about.
If God is Eternal, then His father or His creator must also have existed before God was created and had the same eternal characteristics to pass on to his children. Kind of like an eternal spiritual family.
I think that God (as we know him) has a father, who is alive in an eternal spiritual sense and will always be, just like our God will always be. But since he is the principal creator of our world, He is who we worship as our Father.

There is God the Father and Jesus and the Holy Spirit make up the Godhead (that word is in the Bible). They always have existed..There is no other before God....the Father has no father.

God dosnt have a father. he IS the father and creator of all. And he didnt have a father becaus there was no begining for him, I know what youre thinking 'thats imposible and it dosnt make sense' yep I dont get it either nor any one, but thats becaus we are human. i guess it just shows how powerful God is.
