My name is Uche. I jog almost everyday to keep fit. I used to have a big stomach (probably because I eat alot), and as a result, I do press up exercise so that my stomach will trim down and it is helping me a lot. I will be getting married towards the end of the year. My question is, since I engage in press up exercise always to keep fit, will it prevent me from getting pregnant? And if I get pregnant, will it affect my pregnancy since the first three months of pregnancy is hardly noticeable? I want to keep fit, and at the same time, when I get married, I would like to have kids of my own. Am worried, will my regular press up exercise affect me when I get pregnant?

It wont affect your chances of getting pregnant, but any strain on your belly and back is not good when you are pregnant! ESPECIALLY in the first three months, it is the most crutual time of the pregnancy!!!!!

no, u will stil get pregnant for sure. but dont do press ups while you're preggo. moderate exercises are needed during your pregnancy, because hell, you need to be healthy to have a healthy baby, right? but excessive exercises are a no no. there are website about work out during your pregnancy, i used to do yoga for pregnancy. look it up on the net..or go to yoga.com =)

Don't do sit ups while pregnant, it is not good for your baby! At least not at the beginning. Do other exercises like jogging and yoga, which are good.

I would like to advise you to do any exercise carefully, and always consult your Dr. before taking any step.
