find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

you are on the right track, keep up the good work, i don't believe in diet pills, i use a bulk/cut cycle throughout the year, with summer coming up, its time to cut.. you can expect to lose 1-2 pounds a week with a good diet, not much more than that unless you start sacrificing muscle.. which in turn will slow your metabolism and make the progress slower.. 8 weeks is a lot of time to shape up. check out bodybuilding.com, go to nutrition, then fat loss subsection.. Hugo Rivera wrote a few great articles on nutrition plans and workout schedules to use as a guideline when cutting. i based my nutrition plan off his with great results.. i don't know what your diet is but if your calorie intake is not too low, lower your calorie intake by 250 to 300 calories per day. if you are doing 30 minutes of cardio every 2 days, that's 3x /week, take it to 4x /week. if you don't lose weight after these changes at the end of the week, do 45 minutes each cardio session.. any more than 45 and you will be tearing muscle down.. do cardio 1st thing in the morning on empty stomach or after weightlifting as this will yield the best fat burning results. check out his article and keep up the hard work. good luck

Just keep on doing what you are doing, man. Don't put a time limit on it. It will only discourage you. Instead, take solace in small improvements.
The cardio is what is getting rid of the fat, not the situps and pushups. All those are doing is adding muscle under the fat. However, the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn.
Stay away from too many sugars. No soda, juices, pasta, etc. Your body has to burn that before it can start burning the fat during your cardio workout.

Good for you in all of your exercising!! You need to cut back on your carbohydrates, like breads, pastas, pizza's, pastries, all packaged cereals, white potatoes,(all starch and sugar). All dairy products. All fast foods. Eat more veggies, and cut down on your meats. You only need to eat fresh red meat 2 or 3 times a week. No cold cuts, unless you eat turkey ones. You can eat chicken, turkey and fish, Not fried, but baked or broiled. Eat berries, no juices, eat fresh apples, and pears, peaches fresh or frozen. Go easy on the bananas as they are all sugar. Switch to Sea Salt for your salt intake. You can also eat eggs.Use Olive oil for your cooking oil and also you can use it on your salads, with vinegar.
You will lose that extra inch, But you will also need to change your eating to stay the way you want to stay. People also need to take all natural supplements as there are not too many nutrients in our food any more. Too many chemicals and preservatives added. Probably one of the most important thing....you must drink lots of water, not sodas, nor coffee, nor tea, but filtered or bottled, not tap. Drink half your body weight in ounces a day.Very Important!!!
