what is the average size in the USA by the way????

I am an AMERICAN size 12 now, not UK like someone assumed..

Well compared to most of the world the U.S. is overweight. I especially noticed this when I was in Germany and returned stateside. It all depends on your health and the crowd you are trying to attract. I prefer 4-8 myself, depending on height and build.

What are your current measurements? If you lost 10kg, you would probably lose around 4 inches. Seems a bit extreme to me, what's so wrong with being a UK size 12 anyway?
The average size in America is a size 14, which is around our size 16 (measurements 40-32-42).

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

Size 12 is nice and 10 would put you in petite which can be sexy if your packing the meat!
