United kingdom the green and pleasent land mostlty because of our high rainfall. But there are so many lovely holiday places you could really just stick a pin in the map and take the nearest coastal resort, Norfolk, kent somerset deven cornwall the list goes on . Have a great holiday

New Years Day and 2d in Scotland basically. Easter Friday (reliable Friday) Easter Monday Early would economic employer holiday (First Monday) late would economic employer holiday (final Monday) August economic employer holiday Christmas Day Boxing Day (26 Dec) Plus i think of maximum frequently employed get 20 non public holiday journeys off to boot. this is all

It's years since I was down that way but it really is worth a visit... Norfolk and the Broads... Can't help with up-to-date news on hotels though.

*this depends on what type of entertainment you want.essex has some lovely resorts.holland on sea etc ,but are quiet.blackpool is full of fun ,slot machines and the fun fair.wales has some great sites to see.colwyn bay, llanduno and more.scotland also has some great places to visit.Edinburgh is fantastic with all it,s history and castle.

barmouth is a loverly seaside place in mid wales you got everything there scenery and a loverly sandy beach the water is loverly and clean and warm too
