I've uninstalled IE7 from my computer (using smth called spuninst.exe) but it doesnt 'roll back' to IE6 like some of the answers said in previous questions. Downloaded ie6setup but it detected a newer version and thus, IE6 wont install! I've tried deleting any IE7-related folders or files but nothing changed. Is there anything I missed out??

if u r using window based os, do the following steps

== uninstall IE7 from setting - control panel - add remove program, (these will safely remove all entries in registry)

== if u have alreday choses to remove IE7 from any other unliacenced software utility, it might possible that the registry entries pending in computer registry, in that case, just use any registry repair mechanisam, to clean out those, mostly system machanic or ace utilities do contains these feature, make sure u have got the back up of ur registry before doing these

== now u can install back the IE6 if u have installer ready for it,

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP

Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."

Click "Add or Remove Programs."

Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.

Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove." (If you are running Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview — March 20 or later, it is not necessary to check "Show Updates.")

Select the appropriate version of Internet Explorer 7 for your operating system.
