No, not really. Most really long answers, I've noticed, are just cut and paste bs that someone took no time to write. I'd rather just have a link posted. Then there are answers that are obviously thought out and typed by hand, but if they're not relevant to the question I asked, that's reason enough for not picking it as best.

I know what you are talking about. I wish we were able to award points to 3 to 4 answerers. Maybe not the full 10 pts....maybe 5 pts. each to the runner ups. I have picked out a really good answer that I just knew would get the points only to have someone come along and cause me to change my mind on my winner. Yes, its upsetting. I just hope it upset me more than it did the people whose answers I didn't choose.

No because some answers are just really too long, if I have more info I just say that they can email me for the book (he hehe). The best answer should be just that however I do give thumbs up. It would be nice if there were points for runner up answers.

Yea, but sometimes people have cut and pasted from web research and I'll always vote for the one that came short, sweet and informative from a person's own knowledge.

Yes, I do feel bad about that, that's why if I see an answer like that it almost always gets the vote. When it doesn't, its because they said way too much and it made me want to vomit to read it. When people get stupid it makes me sick

No. I give what I feel it the best answer. Sometimes, I give a silly one just to acquire my two points.

Do you feel sorry for not awarding an Olympic medal to a pathetic contender that you pitied?
