If a Christian shared the message of Jesus Christ and then followed it up by performing a miracle (eg: healing a cripple or blind person), that you were satisfied was totally authentic, would you be more inclined to believe the message they shared?
Please don't side-track into why there ARE or CAN BE no miracles. I'm not looking for theology, just yes or no. Spare me the sarcastic one-liners. They generally come from ppl too chicken to face the question. Whatcha think?

If miracles were needed for Jesus himself to convince the Apostles, then I think that's the least his representatives should offer me.

But it better be pretty impressive, because I've seen Penn&Teller pull off some miracles. None of that "water into wine" bullshit. A real miracle. Spin the moon around so the dark side shows, and write on it "I am the Lord your God" or something like that.

Waiting.

No
People on earth can be used to perform miracles...with God working through them.
Lucifer uses trickery and the antichrist will deceive with the idea of miracles.

I don't see how answering this question will help anyone. The miracles are bogus. This is like considering if the sky being green will affect peoples' religion.

No i would not.

Human action in the realm of reality does not constitute a miracle and would be disproved at the spot or at a later date by collective intelligence.

For me to believe in the supernatural, I would have to experience the supernatural.

Not necessarily. Ever heard of Simon Magus? He performed miracles too, but he still wasn't who he claimed to be.

There is a movie you should see called "The Visitation," that deals with this exact subject.

I have eye wittiness miracles, but remember what Jesus said
" blessed are they who have not seen and yet believe"

in my experience it's faith that brings forth the miracles

there was a lot of people who seen Jesus miracles and still did not believe

If people could do things like that? Sure, I'd sign up in a minute to learn more! However - they don't. I try to remember that faith is like a mustard seed - but my mustard seed apparently has been encountering a drought.

Modern doctors heal and even resurrect far more people than any ancient prophet or incarnate deity ever did. Plus we have first-hand proof of the healing abilities of modern doctors, which is something that can't be said of any prophet or incarnate deity.

Yet no one ever rushes to the hospital emergency room to beg the doctor's advice on their latest moral dilemma. Why is that?

Clearly, miracles do not prove morality.
