Ask him what his favorite things about sex are and then ask him what he doesn't like then tell him your preferences are, if this doesn't work then just start being rougher each time.

This is the problem, I think, when women try to communicate with men. Ever had a high school english teacher say "show, not tell" about your writing? Same thing here!
Talk is cheap. Too much talk and he'll drown it out as white noise.
Instead, get on top this time. Ride him like a cowgirl. Dig your nails into him. Get your catwoman on. Sounds silly, but show not tell!

If you think he would feel bad if you told him, then my suggestion would be to get on top and show him how you like it. If he is being to gentle during foreplay then just give him some gentle encouragement.... for example... when he is doing something tell him, "oh I like that.. thats nice... do it harder..." or try this, " oh yeah I like that... do it faster..." That way he know you like what he is doing so he doesn't feel like you are critizing him. It worked on my husband and he really likes the feed back.
Good Luck!!!

Aside from openly saying it, you could try to let him know during sex by talking dirty to him. then any perceived criticism can be played off as being said while "in the heat of the moment".
Just moan and yell out "pound me hard baby". I'm sure he'll be happy to comply.

Just talk with him about it. If you trust each other enough to sleep with each other then you should trust each other enough to be open in your communication. Just explain that you are trying to make it better for the both of you.

get married first young lady! and then get your little but into church so you can learn to be modest enough not to tell the whole world about your sex life on yahoo answers!!! we do not need to see your dirty laundry, ask your mom what that means. /

If you tell him what you want in sex, he won't feel that way. I guy wants to know what makes you happy.

Maybe during sex you should tell him to be more rough ? like in the heat of the moment.... or maybe you should take control.
