Kinda too late if you posted here, and yes you could have a big problem, go to the doctor ASAP, if you don't trust yourself go to your mother if you feel you can't go to her go to another female you really trust but get help, you will thank yourself later in life, I DID

I remember when I first moved out and I ate nothing but soup, coffee and vitamins for a long time. After a while it wasn't so bad. This is because depending on your diet (volume) your stomach expands and shrinks. So if you we're a skimpy eater for a while you may find yourself with less appitite all the time.

So, you may not actually have an eating disorder...you may just have a small stomach. If thats the case then you should make sure that when you DO eat your getting the valuble vitamins and minerals (and calories) that your body needs to operate every day.

Now sit back and laugh at the fatties.

is there a reason why you have lost your appitite? when i had severe anxiety i would loose my appitite a lot. you can also loose your apitite when you are under a lot of stress. depression can also be a cause. there are also some illness that cause you to loose your appitite as well. i would deffinatly recomend that you visit your doctor and see what they have to say and see if they can run some tests. if you are no eating on pupose however then you may have and eating disorder and then in which case you would also need therapy to get through that. you know your body better than anyone else so if you feel as though something is not right then you need to tell your doctor and make him listen. hope this helps

You may have developed the illness, Depression. Loss of appetite is often one of the symptoms. You may have a physical health problem. In any case, I agree with those that say you must see a doctor! That is their job to find out what is wrong and treat it.

By the way, I doubt that you have an eating disorder and there is no shame in having Depression or any other illness.

Look in your local phone book to see if there are any clinics that treat eating disorders in your area,or call your local health dept.for info on what is available there.Remember your medical information is protected by the HIPPA laws.
However,if your family is worried, that sounds like they are a good source of support and if you are a minor they will have to authorize your medical care.
Another thought is to contact your family physician if you have one and see what they suggest.
You are here in question which suggests to me that you are only seeking confirmation that you should get help,it's confirmed.Get help before you do serious damage to your heart and body. I hope you get what you need soon.

U could have an eating disorder (mental) or u could have a medical disorder (physical). On average an adult should consume 2000 calories per day, higher if u r physically active, a bit lower if u r not. The best advise is to go see a doctor.

i had anerexia when i was in my teeage years, and had a horrible time getting through it. i went down to 86 pounds and almost died. i would suggest you go see the doctor and get help soon because it can almost destry you and your body. when you neglect to give your body the proper nutrients you kill your insides and what i mean by this is expect in the future to be very sick catching all sorts of things easily, your body will stop allowing you to have menstrual cycle and possible not to be able to be fertile in the future. damage muscle and bone quality, and much more. you should go on a cite to see all the thing s about this disoder to understand more about it. you really need to please take care of this before you don't have a chance to and end up dying like karen carpentor. you life if much more precious than anything good luck and take care
