The Romans believed in God, and also the Greeks, but their not around anymore to tell their story, So that your saying is Columbus came to Spain, Britain, and America and put man on earth. That's what your saying. Oh I forgot, I knew that you would answer "So me there is a God." And also so me the counterdictions of the Bible, I am asking for proof, and I can see not one of the answers so far has given me proof. So all of your pathic, rude remarks means nothing if you can't back it up

The idea would be that one saying there is no God should need no more proof than one saying there is no evil laundry beast devourng people's souls all over the world needs no proof, because nonbelief in any given attribute of the universe is a base state while extraordinary claims, like the universe coming to exist only after a fully sentient being had existed, require extraordinary evidence...

That said, I can present to you no evidence that no divine being exists, because such a belief has no specifics that could be disproven. I could however disprove or point out logical fallacies in a specific set of beliefs towards the nature of this divine being... But for me to do that I'd have to first hear your individual set of beiefs.

It all depends on your belief. For a christian like me I only have my faith as proof of God. But as a logical thinking person, I have tons of proof that there is no God.

I am suggesting you are a Christian, therefore you should be aware that the common teaching of your God is a merciful, all-loving and all-forgiving God who is resembled to a shepered watching over his flock of sheep. On top of that an All-mighty being. From that alone, I can tell you there is no God.... How?
1) IF GOD IS MERCIFUL
- why is there pain, suffering, corruption? If your God is merciful, why does he allow this to happen? Why does he allow any person to experience all the misery of life? Why is there poverty?
2) IF GOD IS ALL LOVING
- why is there hatred? basing from your additional details in the question, you get angry? Why should your God allow you to experience anger which could lead to increase of your blood pressure and lead you to die? Why is there abortion? If your God is all loving? Then why does he allow the slaying of innocent lives? I have a friend gunned down for no reason whatsoever and to think, before the vital shot was given he cried out "GOD HELP ME!" but why didn't his all-loving god help?
3) IF GOD IS ALL FORGIVING
- why is there a hell? If your God's mercy is greater than any sin, then HE MUST FORGIVE ANY SIN? Then why are we constanly treathened to an eternity of hell if you only lived 70 years of sin?
4) IF GOD IS LIKE A SHEPERED WATCHING OVER HIS SHEEP
- why are there people lost in life? Why are there people like you who need to prove that there is God? If you have a God that is like a shepered, YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT FAITH ALONE IS PROOF OF YOUR GOD! But no, you still have to get proof that there is no God. You yourself is an example that there is no God!
5) IF GOD IS AN ALL-MIGHTY BEING
- why can't he stop the destruction of the earth? Why can't he stop the wars that kills his children? Why can't he give the blessings his people ask?

With those in mind.
If there is no merciful, all-loving, all-forgiving and all-mighty being who wishes the betterment of his people. Then there is no God!

But if you really do believe in God, you don't need proof? Why should you? I believe in my God who listens and watches. I have such a strong faith that I don't need proof. How about you?

There is no "proof" that there is a God and no "proof" that there isn't a God. And as a student is a science oriented major, I'm sure atheists will explain to you that there is never proof for ideas or theories, there is simply evidence to support them. Until God comes to earth (again), He will never be proved or disproved.

Here you go.

One way to disprove the almighty god is that omnipotence leads to paradoxes. Can god make a rock that is too heavy for him to carry? Can god build a wall that even he can't tear down?

Also, if god knows everything, he knows what he will do in the "future" (in any dimension, not necessary the time dimension). He must have known that from the very start of his own existence. Thus god's actions are predestined. God is tied by faith, he has no free will. If god has no free will god is not omnipotent. Another way to put it is that to be able to make plans and decisions one must act over time. If god stands above time he can not do that and has no free will. Indeed, if god stands above all dimensions god is dimensionless - a singularity, nothing, void!

Besides there can exist no free wills at all if god is almighty. If you had a free will, god wouldn't know what you would do tomorrow and wouldn't be omnipotent.

the proof that THERE IS NO GOD=MY LIFE-As a Jew I was taught to reject Jesus and the New Testament-and truely there was no God! then one day someone showed me that I could find Jesus and let him into my heart-to forgive my sins and be my friend as He says in the bible. So I prayed and let Jesus forgive my sins, come into my heart to help me, and be my friend, amen " as he says to do in Revelation 3:19&20
Yet till that point my blindness kept me from knowing there was a God. NOW GOD IS MY BEST FRIEND MESSIAH ISAIAH 52:13-53:12 He will be despised and rejected of man, and will lay down his life to make atonement for our sins.

thanks for the question-and those with an experience are never at the mercy of those with only an arguement against that experience.

Any physical evidence ever of his existence? No
Any verifiable eye witness accounts of his existence? No
Any actual evidence of any miracle credited to him? No
Any secondary sources that provide any evidence? No
All you have is the bible, a book written, editted, rewritten, re-editted, and rewritten again by men claiming to be god. And this bastardized work of fiction is what you base the entire myth around.
Man created god in his image, not the other way around.

Sure, not a problem, but show me evidence there isn't a tooth fairy first.

If you cannot show me evidence why there isn't a tooth fairy, then you should know it is not possible to proof a negative item. The full burden is in proofing the positive item, meaning showing me proof that god existed, at least show his face.

Well, I don't know these people you are talking about but the picture of GOD varies from religion. For example, If it were the Buddist religion GOD isn't portrayed as GOD but Buddha. So, it depends on their religion or that they are athiest which is also a form of relion.

The Bible is full of falacies and contradictions to itself and to how we know the world was shaped and has become what we know it is today.

Disproving the Bible disproves your God. Case closed.
