First off, a name should be one that will not embarass either of you in public or in front of dear ole' Great Grannie. Names usually come on after at least a few months of (really good getting to know each other) dating. Anything demeaning, racial, or all around insensitive are off limits. Names will just come to you because of the other persons personality.

The best one? The one that finally arrives (sometimes after years) He/She is my best friend.

i usally stick to the normal butthead or turd..but i also call him silly names like babycakes or hun..i sometimes call him bootyboy..hes got a ghetto booty..its really not about what other people are calling thier boyfriends its more about whats meaningful to you..the next time you see just think..what the first name that pops in your head..usally thats the one you stick with.my nickname when i first met my guy was miss hotcakes..and it still is..lol..

i call mine Bear only because hes not very bear like...the best names are just random things or times youve had say you cook together and call him "stir fry " its fun and so random you'll think back to the time you first said it and just laugh.
