i liek this guy and my mosts hate him becuase they think hes a jerk and perverted. i like him alot becuase hes nice to me and hes just seems not the type of guy who would be like really mean. do i listen to my friends and back of or do i follow my heart?

I understand that your torn, both him and friends hold a big position in your life and i understand being in the middle must feel uncomfortable....
but, if this man is doing what he needs to do to keep a stable relationship with you, is not disrespecting your friends with his type of humor and understands that both your friends and him will not force you into a positon of being uncomfortable then you should be able to find reasonable common ground with both.

Try and figure out why your friends feel this way. Sometimes friends see things from the outside that us girls miss from the inside. Talk to them about why they feel the way they do, and really listen to what they have to say. Then, make a decision. Are you candy coating a guy who is treating you wrong or are your friends making unfair accusations? You decision as to whether to stay with him or not is answered by that question. Be real with yourself.

Listen to your friends and step back and examine your relationship a bit closer. Why do they think this and re-evaluate why you are with him. Don't stay with him because you are insecure and feel lonely. Stay with him because you like the way he treats you and others. Just remember that you may alienate your friends and when he stops being nice to you they did try to warn ya.

Go for the guy. I've been in that situation before, my girl friends find him not a good influence for me. I stay out of the group and go with my guy. Now were 11 years together, and my friends are happy for both of us.
If they are real friends, they'll be happy to see you happy. They'll be there when you needed them.

If your friends cant respect your desions then they arent your friends at alll!! Or they might even be jealous!! just follow Your heart and Hope For The best!

this is a basic rule of thumb and many may not agree. but 9 times out of 10: if more than 2 people, who aren't related to you, tell you to drop him...it's guaranteed that he's a loser and you need to run...
it's unlikely that sooo many people just dislike him for no reason - is he a wife/gf beater? is he a playah? while your friends may have ulterior motives, but if, say, someone in his family, one of his exes, or your hairdresser says he's bad news...don't wait for the hammer to fall - run!
