What's sad is that the creationists will say that the dating is off because the world is only 6000 years old; that the scientists are misled, and that the fossil record is a farce. The fact that a living fish eats this way today means that evolution didn't happen, and that God created these creatures as they are, and that no evolution is necessary.

It's impossible to argue with a creationist as they disregard the science. If everything you see proves you right, and all of the negative evidence is discounted, or worse, proves you right anyway, there is no room for discussion.
