Depends on what your cherish.. Him or the money? If money isn't an issue, then it should.. If he attempts to buy you everything.. Then no. A sense of pride should keep you from accepting gifts.. They're great and all, but it's more satisfying knowing that you earned it, and someone didn't just hand it to you.
If you are like that, and seriously work hard and have little, then it has possibility.. regardless of what people say, your true emotions should never revolve around money. Greed has killed many a relationship. On both accounts, his and hers. If your devoted to your man, then tell him. Show him that he doesn't need to be wealthy for you to love him.. Work hard for something and switch it up, give him something important. (Being materialistic for a guy is easy, tools, games, automotive, entertainment.) But then again.. it's not cheap.

All you can do is to be honest with him. You don't have to ask for or take any money from him, just let him know that you can't do certain things because you are on a budget right now. There is no shame in that. Telling him something like that is better than just to not go places with him; he could possibly start thinking that you just don't want to see him. If your financial situation bothers him, you don't need that kind of person anyway. It will all work out. Best Wishes

Got to ask one question: does he know you are poor? Don't try too hard to prove to him that you are not in the relationship for the money. Think of this guy as your boyfriend who just happens to be rich. Be open and honest with him and see where it leads. If you were dating a guy who wasn't so wealthy and were having trouble with your bills, wouldn't you ask him for help? If you keep avoiding going to events with him, he will start making assumptions and you'll be in danger of losing him.

Money should never be a matter in a relationship!
It shouldn't matter if your poor or he's rich or vice versa
Love is not money, loving someone for money is low-down and pathetic
You should love someone for who they are and for the fact that they love you
Love someone for who they are, not the value they have upon them
So if you both truly love each other, then it will work wonderfully!
But if its because of money, then be ready for a world of hurt

It can work, but statistically people tend to end up with someone in the same economic class as they are. However, girls ending up with guys who have more money than they do seems to succeed a lot more than guys ending up with girls with more money than they have.

If you love each other it will. Just do not let him buy you a lot of stuff because you don't want others like his family say to him that all you are after is his money.

it really depends on the guy. If he is stuck up and takes money for granted then maybe hes not the right guy. I know plenty of rich guys who are decent guys but there are also those rich guys who think they are so much better than poorer people. If it doesnt bother you that he is richer than you then it shouldnt bother him. Having a rich boyfriend also has its perks. :)

yes you can have a good life. Because if you really love him then the money don't matter. And if he really love you then lack of money don't matter. You see when you love someone it not what they have or don't have it the heart that count.
