all of my music on my computer is in itunes,and isnt in a format that will open with the audacity program. where do i find files that will open in it, or how do i convert them?

In audactiy, choose "what you hear", and then press record, and play your music.

If memory serves, iTunes can convert audio files to MP3 format.

Hit the Help Tab and search for more info.
