My favorite hymn is "Sing On, Ye Joyful Pilgrims."

Thanks in advance for answering.

One of the greatest ever written is:

"Jesus loves me, this I know for the Bible tells me so!
Little ones to Him belong. They are weak, but He is strong!
Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so!"

I hope we never outgrow these simple but powerful words!

(Another that is very high on my list is "Be With Me Lord", written by L. O. Sanderson!)

Be Not Afraid

Edit: I will probably get thumbs down for this but the one hymn I can't stand is Amazing Grace.

I don't have a single favorite hymn, my favorite is different day to day.
Today my favorite song is All My Tears By Jars of Clay. I am not sure if they wrote it or what but today this is my favorite song.

When I go, don't cry for me
In my Father's arms I'll be
The wounds this world left on my soul
Will all be healed and I'll be whole.
Sun and moon will be replaced
With the light of Jesus' face
And I will not be ashamed
For my Savior knows my name.

It don't matter where you bury me,
I'll be home and I'll be free.
It don't matter where I lay,
All my tears be washed away.

Gold and silver blind the eye
Temporary riches lie
Come and eat from heaven's store,
Come and drink, and thirst no more

It don't matter where you bury me
I'll be home and I'll be free
It don't matter where I lay
All my tears be washed away

So, weep not for me my friends,
When my time below does end
For my life belongs to Him
Who will raise the dead again.

It don't matter where you bury me,
I'll be home and I'll be free.
It don't matter where I lay,
All my tears be washed away.

The Greatest Commandment, A Cappella, in a small room.

It's a 4 round song. We always sing in 4 part harmony as i am Church of Christ. no instruments. The final notes echo in the ceilings. Beautiful.

Ripple
;-)
If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine,
and my tunes were played on the harps unstrung,
would you hear my voice come through the music
Would you hold it near as it were your own
