you can approach this situation with soooo many different perspectives man, think of it this way, you already have things in common, your in the same history class, you could just ask her about a class assignment, her oppinion on a recently discussed topic, or even simply ask to borrow an eraser, ANYTHING, just so you could break the ice, and not be the guy in the class who doesn't speak to her. Oh and don't be nervious or anything just be natural, girls can sometimes sense fear and awkward"ness" (i dont even think thats a word - Lol ) and from that point it's all systems go, all you gotta do is follow up with something that can hold her attention, ya i think i wrote too much good luck dude

Is she smart? Tell her you need a study partner. Guess that works if she is having trouble as well. Conversation starters could be: "Am really having trouble w/ this stuff. You seem to understand it. Do you think you could help me? Could we meet some time in the library?" (or) "Do you get this? Could we get togther and study? My parents really expect me to get a good grade ...." Really any comment you make to her is good 'cause it shows you notice her. Say hello to her in class and comment on anything you notice new about her. If she brushes you off, might want to move on. If she smiles, she at least appreciates you .... Good luck.

I ask her what she likes. ex: hobbies, music, classes etc. Then ask her about anything you two have in common. ex: you might like the same band then you could try talking about that. Just try and get a feel for what she likes then you can start your future conversations around that. In the future you can be able to recall something she said in the past and bring it up again. She'll definately like that.

just ask her for a pencil or something and when you take it make sure to make eye contact with her, but just a glance like you didnt mean it, give allitle smile and ur set, by making eye contact with you, she will feel more comfortable with starting or carrying on a conversation with you,, also, when you give the pencil back wait till you do it in the hall, if you have something good to talk about then thats gunna give you both time to do so.

If you have never spoke with her before... Try to ask her about the class to start the conversation.
Thereafter ask her to join you for lunch break.

just "accidently" bump into her in the hallway or something. then say your sorry and introduce yourself. then everytime you see her, say hi and hopefully a friendship will start. then you can ask her for her phone number and call her when you "forget" the history homework. then have your frind tell her that you like her and have him ask her if she likes you. if she says yes, then ask her out. and BAM! you have a gf.
