Go to your tax collector's office. There may be a small fee for a duplicate receipt -- it's $1 in MO.

If you live in a rural area, the county clerk's office will probably fax you a copy if you call and ask.

In larger areas, you could still get it from the same office -- but it would require a lot more leg work.
