Freeze control or friz control? Freeze will make it stiff while a smoothing creme will help the friz, and you can use it at night if you're air drying. 'CHI' makes the best, but 'MATRIX' and 'ARTEC' make very good ones as well. Also, 'CHI' makes a product called '44 IRON GUARD' that you spray on each section before flat ironing. It's a wonderful product that eliminates friz and also protects from heat. It has a moisture guard in it that helps with humidity.

Well, you should use a good conditioner for your hair, to help with freezy hair. What kind of hair do you have? Is it thick?
I would ask your hairsystlist. I don't know if its good to sleep with your hair wet on a regular basis. I hear it can cause sores or dandruff.
Anyway, Just get up early like you do. Sounds like you have time to do it.

What works best for me when I sleep on my hair is to use a frizz cream or something like that in the morning. If you use it at night it won't do much good for you.

I have really curly hair. I wash mine at night, towel dry it, and put in frizz control syrum and Biosilk and go to sleep with wet hair. You can style it in the morning. Not blow drying will make your hair healthier.

Get your hair trimmed every 6 to 8 weeks. This will stop split ends from splitting up the hair shaft and causing hair to frizz out.
Avoid washing and blow-drying your hair every day, as this strips your locks of its natural oils.

Style it at night before you go to bed. This will make it easier for you in the morning.
Also, don't sleep on a flannel or cotton pillowcase. These cause frizz. You want to sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase.
